1. What do you when you have pre game nerves?
Everyone gets nervous but when I get nervous against good teams, I just think about the job I have to do to help beating them. Just do everything I do normally before a game and once the game starts, I am fine.
2. How do you control your anger on the court if your teammates don’t listen to you?
You just have to realise that it is just a game. You have to talk to them and make sure they are on the same page. I am at a part of my career that you have to move past situations if you want to get better. Not everyone will listen to you and you have to accept that. You have have to be the better player and learn from what is happening.
3. Do you get nervous when shooting? (Sometimes I get nervous that I will miss or a defender will block me).
Practice, practice and more practice. Once you are confident in your own shot and have convinced others that you can shoot then you will be confident. There is a saying “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”. You have to believe you can shoot but you have to shoot good shots. Sometimes one extra pass will give someone a great shot. I hav proven to my team and myself that I can shoot so I shoot a lot but mainly good shots. I will get blocked from time to time or miss occasionally. That is apart of the game so don’t that discourage you from shooting.
